The destruction of marriage precedes the death of a culture but at least we are capturing the death throes of our bourgeois culture on Youtube for free. In the age of mass participation people can emotionally self implode and deconstruct their awful marriages and relationships before an audience of millions. Marriage horrifies me , marrying for money even more so. I did think Ms Walsh
Smith could have found worse things in her husbands drawer. The embalmed body of
a dead tramp was found in a drawer in the studio of late Brit artist Robert

Clearly a defining moment for 21st Century cinema if not feminism - an oppressed
sister hires a professional film crew to do a demolition movie of her mean old
toad of a husband on Youtube from her 9 roomed ghetto dwelling on New York's
Park Avenue.

Future generations of women will hear the name Phil Smith and
spit.

They'll make a movie of this, Smith vs Smith, probably after the old
toad croaks or goes postal.

from men to Walsh Smith in the YouTube comments section point at a more serious
problem, women living in constant fear and danger of male anger and sexual

I suppose you could view Tricia Walsh Smith as engaged in industrial action
over a wages dispute and lack of adequate retirement plan.

Mr Smith would
think nothing of publicly castigating and taking legal action against the
Shubert Organisation if it paid him less than the going market rate for his
services or what he thought he was worth and ditched him without a substantial

Whatever, these guys have to negotiate a solution or have
the courts impose one if they are going to fight over the finer print of pre

Yeah , this story is kinda drab. The real story here for me is the way
technology has eroded all boundaries , the networks used to do exclusives and
exposes on the bust ups of the rich and the famous, now they puke their guts up
on Youtube themselves.

Boring, lets move on guys.

well yeah, there was something so pathetic about watching this woman on video,
it wasn't a very classy thing for her to do, who knows, maybe she wants to
become famous in her own right.

So, back to our struggle of nickel and
dimes.
This is depressing.

Yeah, I have a sneaking suspicion that I'm simply going to get fucking poorer
and it doesnt make me feel any better that as the Smiths publicly squabble over
his fortune we are surrounded by people in the developing world rioting over
rising food prices.

It looks pretty bleak out there beyond Park Avenue.

she's an actress, she has a history as an artist, to a certain extent, she's
more upper west side than park avenue, she has creative fire, maybe that was
unsettling for him, park avenue wives tend to be more muted.
