it seems god and governments will not  contemplate  bankers going hungry

the rest of us count no more than the dead animals at the side of the road
yet the hot winds arising from the burning ledgers
are picking up over the great plains
and even at $3.95 a gallon or less
we're never going to outrun the coming dustbowl
that'll rake us to the bone

the right wing shock jocks compete to drool over the alaskan evita
each willing to cry for her and risk all for a one night stand
but if anyone else wants to run the country stick your hand up
