Thought I'd just update the pic as regular readers already know the outcome of the Tryst. Tom's wife's  car got hit by a firetruck as she sat there with her eyes closed on the corner of  Hoover and Main  waiting for  the universe to make her next decision for her , Tom found out about her affair with Rodrigo from the cops who assuaged their own guilt at inadvertently blabbing and driving the already grief stricken preacher into a complete nervous breakdown  by picking up Rodrigo for a minor traffic violation outside O'Hara's one night and driving him out into the country and working him over real good with their rifle butts.  Rodrigo crossed back into Neuvo Laredo 3 days later with a broken arm and permanently blind in one eye. He became a grave digger. The church roof never did get fixed. 

Life has a lot of lessons for us but we usally forget what they are before we learn them .
