This is the limit! You are simply demeaning other women for getting married and
raising kids as women always have done just to champion your own selfish
hedonistic ways. I'll have you know that I have 3 grandchildren and I turned 55
last October but I still keep my man fully occupied in bed and he hasnt strayed
yet and we still find time to ride across the desert in our leathers and catch
the Eagles in concert. Lets see how connected you are 20 or 30 years down the
road .

Dear Light worker Healer:

I'm so psychic, the other admin is gonna have
a laugh. When we were discussing using this pic for our next blog I
told him, "I bet that woman form marin county is gonna jump all
over it." This is just getting too predictable. I know it seems like
we're trying to make people angry, but we just follow our own
evolutionary compass when working with this site, and it's becoming very apparent that our consistent methods of logic really
piss people off!

In 20 or 30 years I will look back and thank
the universe for bringing a wide variety of men into my life, I'm so
grateful every time I get the chance to learn more about the hearts and
minds of men, and you can learn an awful lot about people when you
don't keep them in a cage, or demand that they submit to domestic
compliance.

No one ever said that human nature is compatible with any of the limited
laws of human consciousness.

I've been a trucker for as long as I care to remember and I've noticed the
increasing number of people and couples of a certain age doing the designer
lifestyle black leather rebel motorcycle club thing. But you know what I notice
most, that while the guys get off on the machismo of roaring around on state of
the art Harleys the women , who manage to look at least a good ten years
younger than their menfolk , strut their shit for all to see at gas stations and
motel parking lots. You can bulshit other women but dont try it on with me. You
know exactly what that pic is about .

this doesn't have to be a controversial conversation, no one has to get angry,
most people that enter into marriage will always have doubts about whether they
can completely trust their partner indefinitely, marriage asks too much of
people, people fall in love, they fall out of love, people do change, and their
partners change, people very rarely change together though. I suppose many
people know this (in the unconscious) when they go into marriage, but often
they're too afraid to talk about it with one another, because they have taken on
these vows, vows that defy nature and logic. I'm just a little surprised when
people say that they never saw the end in sight, when all along their biggest
secret fear has been that their partner might leave them one day. So many
married people live in constant fear. A recently divorced woman told me that
marriage is not a way to stabilize mental health, she said that marriage is the
ultimate challenge to mental health. I very strongly believe that marriage is a
form of severe oppression. If I thought that it really made people happy I
would never say this, because oppression is a word that should never be used
without good reason.

who was it, Johnny Mathis, that sang that song 'Baby Baby Don't Get Hooked On
Me'?

If you listen to those lyrics closely, you might be shocked at how
subversive that song is.

No one ever thought to hang him up in the town
square for writing a pop song about how impossible relationships are, so please,
understand, we're not trying to piss anyone off, it would be a lot less tense
around here if people were just naturally capable of digesting our abrasive
delivery, because we aren't capable of making this material more palatable.
Anonymous   |2009-01-01 04:47:40
it was mac davis that sang the song 'baby baby don't get hooked on me'
Dr Zack  - Marriage is For Babies - admin sort that fucking p   |2009-01-01 14:36:24
Damn! I wrote a long post and it vanished! The gist of it was I think there is
a controversy lurking in the background here as death awareness within marriage
and similar monogamous longterm term relationships disproportionately negatively
impacts on women as they are up against their biological clock and related
cultural preferences /pressures around their desirability/use value. It's right
there in 'baby baby don't get hooked on me' too as the lyric could sum up the
relational strategy of a man of any age whereas the use of terms like girl,
baby and hot blooded woman-child ' give the bigger game away , investment for
the woman is driven by 'hot blooded' biology, is time critical and a far more
riskier proposition, including maternal mortality which is currently increasing
in the US.

For the woman who passes on reproduction there is no rationale
for marriage or a long-term relationship unless she just feels compelled to
mimic the wider culture and/or believes she must sacrifice her autonomy to be
set free.
Sy   |2009-01-01 14:44:55
Perhaps we should start teaching children that relationships arent for ever -
either that or simply stop having kids to reduce human unhappiness and
disappointment.
Anonymous   |2009-01-01 14:45:19
just think of all the love songs that have inspired people to believe in the
institution of marriage, often these songs take on an entirely new meaning when
we're in the exciting stages of a new relationship, when we get "hooked"
on love songs, we're submitting to the myth of together forever with one person,
I don't think it's a stretch to call it a voluntary form of
brainwashing.

what are most people really looking for, on the most basic,
primal level? Great sex (call it mystical lovemaking) with someone that doesn't
want to oppress us.

Some of the most meaningless sex takes place between
people that are in a contracted relationship, a year into the union, people
often have to fantasize about someone other than their partner in order to
climax....but, most would concur, it's better than no sex at all. And that's
why many relationship authors concur that marriage is much more suitable for men
than women.
GeorgiaBoy   |2009-01-01 14:54:53
Hi, I live in the Atlanta area , work in retail management and I'm open for the
sort of relationship you girls are promoting here and really identify with your
posts as my wife of 15 years was incredibly negating and oppressive and I
finally just had to tell her no more my freedom comes first. I have the kids now
every other weekend but that's negotioable . I can accomodate or travel. I've
left my e-mail with admin if any of you are interested.

thank you Sy, your semantics are vivid, you always say so much in just a few
sentences.

I'm just wondering if the Marin County Healer were to meet Mac
Davis at a party, if she would question him about writing such a cynical song,
that song is a fucking dream crusher for women that want to breed. Can't you
picture certain types of women listening to that song, crying, getting angry,
stomping their feet, and huffing away declaring, "HOW DARE HE! HOW DARE
HE!"
Frank   |2009-01-01 14:58:05
I'm involved in a lot of meaningless sex with me on the other hand I embraced
alcoholism to liberate myself from my last long term relationship. Bob are you
Bi by any chance?
autotelic   |2009-01-01 15:02:41
maybe we should use one of my older paintings for the next blog, it's entitled
'Inactive Hedonist'

We've all had such a hard time with dating sites, maybe,
just maybe, we can establish some potential hook ups here, I don't know why we
never thought about this before.
Sy   |2009-01-01 15:16:31
Yeah, I can just see the Marin Healer running a campaign against artists and
labels that lead impressionable youngsters to question the happy families ever
after fantasy. I can also envision her banging a tambourine along to a song
about Free Love in the late 60's with a stomach bulging with screaming life.

the people that manipulate this website with their propaganda are working with
faulty logic, and they are doing a very good job of living up to all the
stereotypes that I've ever had of people that are severely ill in mind, body and
soul.

I don't understand this philosophy. It's just so sickening and
anti-life.

My informed conclusion is that all of your rationalizations about
everything indicate that you shouldn't even be on this planet, you're breathing
the air that is designed for those that are truly deserving of it.....the rest
of us, that love life and aren't afraid of intimacy.

How can you even call
yourselves humanists?
Sy     |2009-01-02 00:40:29
Oh come on Anonymous its not as if we're trying to brainwash everyone into
annihilating their will to live. Dont you have a sense of humour?
vinny   |2009-01-02 00:38:48
hedonism is anti life?
you've got some explaining to do
Frank   |2009-01-02 00:46:40
Anonymous , when was the last time you masturbated to a fantasy about your wife?
Adam   |2009-01-02 00:55:20
I dont see much evidence that people love life, I see a lot of evidence of
destructive human behaviour threatening all life on the planet so what does that
say about the collective mind, body and soul of humanity buddy? What kind of
collective fucking steretype are we projecting?
jillian   |2009-01-02 01:23:47
we are the great despisers that Nietzsche spoke about, yes we really exist, and
now you have proof of it....stay tuned and come visit us often.

I'm
starting to wonder if The New Age Movement is responsible for all the trouble in
the world.
Dr Zack   |2009-01-02 10:49:21
"your observations about the human condition mean nothing to those of us
that are really living."

If the majority of humanity were really living
in the positive way you imply our lifestyles wouldnt be having such a
catastrophic effect on the environment and other species living on the planet.

On the Blow Job Question - how on earth did Marx and the Revolutionary Left
overlook this one? - the happy whore probably give a better blow job and value
for money than the helpless wife , I think.
