The need for courage is cruel
How many commoners get through this life without a certain amount of bitterness?
For God’s sake!
No one wants to carry that wretched cross.
Do you have the fortitude, energy, wits, drive and ambition
To break out of the plebeian vortex?
Character analysis is driven by the economy,
Indentured servants we are,
Don’t talk to me about mood regulation,
It’s a trigger,
A horrible Reminder,
That faith will never be enough
To bring about real change.
The dharma wheel spins round and round,
But if fleeting ascension is momentarily achieved,
Through thankless exercises in radical acceptance,
You can bet that resignation has taken hold.
The need for courage is cruel.
