Today is International Autism Awareness Day, the first ever apparently, but I havent been able to find much info on Autism and Aspergers on the net that helps me make much  sense of anything . A lot of the official info  from the UN organisers and  allied organisations bearing the Autism Speaks jigsaw piece logo is basically unwatchable, it's just corporate noise.

I guess my take on autism is that its a question of how deeply people are embedded inside themselves.

The personal video diaries are more interesting but, naturally enough I suppose,  there is a bias towards explaining how life is for children with autism.

I wanted to learn more about adults living with autism.

with those words in your eyes
or expect me to know
where i end
and the world begins

I guess I  know  they dont  get on very well in the culture . I wonder if there are any autistic priests?
